My Professional Journey

I am Mamadou Kanta, a business transformation leader with over a decade of experience turning complexity into clarity—whether it’s through enterprise system implementation, process optimization, or people-centered change.

Today, I’m building on that foundation through an MBA at SFU’s Beedie School of Business, sharpening my capabilities in digital strategy, leadership, and innovation. My career has spanned healthcare, public services, and finance—working across functions to deliver solutions that scale and last.

For over a decade, I’ve helped organizations bridge the gap between business goals and technology solutions—whether leading ERP implementations, optimizing cross-functional workflows, or enabling enterprise-wide change.

My journey began in business analysis, where I developed a deep appreciation for structure, clarity, and listening. As I gained experience, I took on increasingly complex transformation projects—translating stakeholder needs into scalable system solutions and helping teams adapt to change with confidence.

I’ve worked across healthcare, government, and financial sectors, often in roles that required both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery. Whether supporting supply chain modernization or cloud migration efforts, my focus has always been the same: create value, improve experiences, and deliver outcomes that last.

Today, I’m building on that foundation through an MBA at Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business. It’s sharpening my leadership, strategy, and innovation toolkit as I transition into senior transformation roles—where I can shape enterprise direction, not just enable it.

Through this journey, I’ve learned that real change isn’t just about systems—it’s about people. And the most impactful solutions are the ones that empower individuals, not just processes.
